CAIRO - Egypt's Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Samir el-Sayyad discussed Sunday with Finnish and Belgian ambassadors in Cairo boosting economic co-operation and joint investment, the official Middle East News Agency (MENA). Roberto Tanzi-Albi, Finland's ambassador to Egypt, agreed to increase trade and investor tours between the countries to encourage Finnish investors to come to Egypt, whose economy has been suffering since the erruption of the January 25 revolution that toppled former president Hosni Mubarak. Tansi-Albi said Finnish investors eyed a number of sectors in Egypt such as water treatment, paper, timber and electronic industries. Belgium's ambassador in Cairo Bruno Neve de Mevergnies said his country was looking forwards to setting up joint projects here.
