CAIRO, June 23, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt denounced in the strongest terms a terrorist attack that targetted Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed shortly after he spoke and was waving to the cheering crowd in Addis Ababa early on Saturday, a Foreign Ministry statement said. The Ministry's statement expressed Egypt's deepest condolences to the families of the victims as well as the Ethiopian people and government. It also renewed Egypt's calls for coordinating efforts to with Ethiopia combat and up-root terrorism. Egypt expressed confidence in the ability of the Ethiopian government to achieve security and stability in order to fulfill the aspirations of its people, the statement read.
