Boosting co-operation with Concord Group

CAIRO, March 27- Minister of Public Enterprise, Khaled Badawi, ,met on Tuesday a delegation from Concord International Investments Group to discuss the means of enhancing joint co-operation in diverse domains. The meeting came within the framework of the ministry's efforts to promote the available investment opportunities in its companies, according to a ministry statement.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the group's previous expertise in managing investment funds which go back to more than 23 years with total investments of around LE 10.5 billion, besides its contribution to the restructuring of many companies in various sectors.
The delegation, meanwhile, expressed willingness to foster investment partnerships with the ministry's companies.
Minister Badawi, for his part, welcomed the delegation's offer to co-operate with the ministry, stressing the ministry's keenness on enhancing the participation of the private sector in restructuring the ministry's companies.
