The Egyptian coastal city Soma Bay, in partnership with The Cascades Golf Resort and Somabay Golf, hosted the Grand Final of the Strawberry Tour golf tournament for amateur players from 26 February to 1 March. Total 87 golfers, who won regional tournaments across Europe, took part in the event aiming to win one of the 17 trophies offered to the winners at the grand final. The tournament was followed by a magnificent Gala Night to distribute the prizes and mark the end of the Strawberry Tour. Somabay Golf opened its signature 18-hole, par 72, Gary Player-designed golf course in 1998.
