Egypt's National Expo sees EGP 750m contractual sales on 1st day
Published in Daily News Egypt on 10 - 07 - 2021

The National Expo 2021 has achieved contractual sales of EGP 750m by 39 developers participating in the exhibition's activities on its first day.
The achievement comes amid a high turnout from customers and those wishing to buy and invest in national projects, particularly in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), the North Coast, Galala, and Ain Sokhna.
The National Exhibition Company, which organised the event, said that the turnout witnessed on the first day reflects the importance of having strong national exhibitions combining different real estate projects that suit the target customers.
This is in addition to the exclusive offers granted by real estate development companies participating in the exhibition. Various payment systems, facilities, and discounts have all contributed to the great demand for purchase.
The company said that 39 real estate development companies have participated in about 120 projects distributed in the NAC, the North Coast, Galala, and Ain Sokhna, in addition to New Cairo. These include residential, commercial, medical, hotel, and coastal administrative projects.
The company noted that the real estate exhibition industry has not witnessed this turnout before, especially in 2019 and 2020, when exhibitions suffered from low turnout. This was driven by many factors, including the repercussions of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The National Exhibition Company confirmed that it dealt in an orderly manner with all the developments that occurred in the exhibition's activities due to the high turnout, and all remarks were addressed and resolved in time.
It also seeks to present a model for the National Expo that helps developers achieve their sales targets, and provide a new customer base to be added to the market during these events.
Commenting on the high turnout witnessed at the exhibition, Moataz Askar, Executive Director of the National Exhibition Company, said that his company has provided all the success mechanisms for real estate companies participating in the exhibition.
These include marketing, advertising, and the integrated organisation of all procedures within the exhibition, starting with coordination with all real estate marketing companies.
In addition, means of transportation and organisation inside the exhibition were taken into consideration, in addition to finding immediate solutions to some of the observations that arose suddenly due to the great turnout.
Ahmed Waked, Executive Director of the National Exhibition Company, said that an operations room has been set up to monitor all matters and facilitate the participants and customers' entry to the exhibition.
This is in addition to providing all means of support to exhibitors and real estate marketing companies with the aim of exiting the exhibition in an appropriate manner.
The National Expo 2021 is taking place on 9-11 July at the Al-Qubba Palace with an expanded participation of developers. The list of real estate companies participating in the exhibition includes a group of major real estate companies, including: MBG Developments; Baroque New Capital Real Estate; Sorouh Developments; Menassat Developments; and Capital Development Stars, among others.
