Published in Daily News Egypt on 03 - 02 - 2020

On 25 February, the third roundtable discussion of the “Think Commercial” series will be held, and will discuss the changes that took place in the market, the companies' plans to adapt them, and the challenges facing developers towards a more innovative and competitive market in 2020.
The roundtable is organised by Media Avenue, and will be held at the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Cairo. The roundtable will witness the presence of major developers, representatives of government agencies related to this file, experts in real estate development and real estate financing, and members of the House of Representatives.
Discussions will tackle the new plans adopted by real estate development companies to keep the market attractive, after studying the changes that have occurred during the past years.
The general developer system, its working mechanisms, developments in contracts, and partnership in projects developed according to this system will also be discussed.
Moreover, discussions will review mechanisms that can support the market and stimulate sales and competition among developers in providing new products through terms of payment, value added in the units offered, and methods of pricing.
The developers offer their visions of the land allocation processes that were proposed by the New Urban Communities Authority in the last period, and the ability of the market to absorb new offerings, and areas that are attractive points for real estate developers and products that consumers accept.
Participants are exploring opportunities for spreading and expanding smart city projects, and how real estate financing can be more effective in stimulating sales of real estate companies. They are also looking to figure out if the new real estate registration mechanisms can be created to attract foreign investors, direct investment funds, and individual clients from foreign countries.
Participants offer their vision of the general developer system and participation in the development of new urban spaces and the impact of this system on developing integrated projects in services in a variety of products according to a more comprehensive and detailed view.
