Platinum Club brings the 1st Real Madrid Foundation Technical Academy to Egypt

Egypt-based real estate developer, Al Ahly For Real Estate Development has inaugurated Tuesday its first sports facility, Platinum Club. The new club is located in the heart of New Cairo, covering 28 acres of land with total investment of 350 million Egyptian pounds (US$39.4 million).
Platinum Club is considered a stepping stone to develop a chain of sports clubs that is owned and operated by Al Ahly For Real Estate Development. This is a side from the company's diversified portfolio of customer-centric real estate projects in the residential, administrative, medical, leisure, and tourism markets.
"We are delighted to deliver our first sports, social, and leisure facility on-time in line with global standards and customers' aspirations. We established a new arm, "Platinum for sports and entertainment activities," to manage the sports facility to provide excellent customer service and build a generation of champions," announced Hussein Sabbour, Chairman, Al Ahly for Real Estate Development.
"The new club offers a wide spectrum of sports and recreational activities. It brings in experts from international athletics. The club hosts its renowned "Discovery Open Egypt" competition annually since year 2014, where winners get a chance to compete at Nick Bollettieri Discovery Open at IMG Academy Florida," he noted.
"Besides, we brought the first Real Madrid Foundation Technical Academy to Egypt. Our Academy is obliging to the Real Madrid Foundation international standards, therefore we take into consideration the child's health, fitness and nutrition to ensure his/her well-being, we also care about his/her emotional health and comfort around his/her teammates to ensure that the child is taught the true ethics of football, and finally we care about his/her development as a skillful player in order to create a football player that completely stands out, a true ambassador of the Real Madrid Foundation. The club also features Hazem Emam Football Academy - Foxes," he added.
The club contains the largest and most prestigious equestrian center. The center includes 84 stable for horses and a track to host the international and local championships of jumping and dressage with stands that can accommodate up to 1500 spectators. The center also encompasses training school for kids "Pony Club", Cigar Lounge, and a Club House.
Platinum Club contains a number of closed and indoor halls, in which the martial arts are being practiced on top of which is karate, judo, and taekwondo. There are also halls allocated for ballet and aerobics, under the supervision of Slimnastics academy. This is in addition to Baby gymnastic facility, a shooting range (air pressure), and table tennis hall. Other facilities include gym, massage, spa, and sauna facilities.
It is also worth noting that club includes a pools complex supervised by SportStars academy. The complex encompasses four swimming pools: Olympic-size for water sports use, kids' pool, waves pool, and a private pool for ladies.
The club also contains 17 open courts; all are equipped with grandstands and spaces for the spectators to watch matches. There are courts allocated for tennis (central court), squash, handball, volleyball, futsal and basketball, in addition to a football stadium which meets the international standards.
Platinum Club is destined to lead the sports and social community in new Cairo and to become the top sports gateway. The club includes a number of restaurants on top of which are El TIKYA, SONESTA, BON APPETIT,Caffe' Vergnano, Manhattan Burger, Dixie Cream and Five Points. The club also includes a Cigar Lounge, terraces halls for billiard and chess, private library, medical clinic, food court, children play-areas, birthday parties' ballroom, cinema house, and a fully equipped conference room. Also there are parking lots inside the club for its members, in the underground equipped garage or in the waiting lots in front of the courts, plus a track surrounded by green spaces, another running track is around the main football field.
