Egypt's National Railways Authority (ENR) has operated its eighth special train from Cairo to Aswan to facilitate the voluntary return of Sudanese citizens, according to a statement from the Cabinet. Train 1940 departed from Cairo's Ramses Station for Aswan's High Dam Station, carrying over 940 Sudanese passengers, bringing the total number of passengers transported by ENR services to 7,608. ENR stated that it provided full logistical and service support, including a dedicated baggage carriage and assistance teams for elderly passengers and individuals with disabilities, the statement added.
