Egypt's Healthcare Authority (EHA) is exploring cooperation with Russia's POLYMED to roll out mobile healthcare services supported by artificial intelligence, the authority's chairman said on Tuesday. The services would focus on periodic check-ups, home-based care and door-to-door health campaigns, aiming to make advanced healthcare more accessible to citizens, Ahmed El-Sobky said in a statement. He said Egypt is seeking to transfer and localise Russian expertise in healthcare innovation, while integrating AI-driven medical tools into national service protocols after review by its medical advisory board. Senior POLYMED executives, including Alexey Altynbaev, co-founder of POLYMED, along with Alexey Tevanian, Trade and Economic Representative of the Russian Federation in Egypt, took part in the Cairo meeting. POLYMED, a Moscow-based network of digital clinics, brands its platform as a user-friendly "constructor" for health management, offering modular services designed to make healthcare more accessible and patient-centered.
