Egyptian pound dips against US dollar at Monday's close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) dropped against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, August 25, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.4547 and the selling rate at EGP 48.5547, compared with Sunday's rates of EGP 48.3546 for buying and EGP 48.4546 for selling.
