Egypt's Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with Solafa Goueli, executive Director of the National Training Academy, to discuss expanding training programmes for health sector personnel and other vital fields, the Ministry said on Tuesday. Abdel Ghaffar said that knowledge and training are key elements for achieving sustainable development, stressing the need to target villages and remote areas with accessible training programmes that reach citizens where they are, enabling them to invest their skills and abilities in building a better life and supporting the community, as per the statement. Discussions covered expanding training for second- and third-level government leaders, launching specialised programmes for technical offices in the health sector, and developing a dedicated crisis and emergency management programme. Goueli praised the cooperation with the Health Ministry and reaffirmed the academy's commitment to providing innovative training aligned with global developments to meet local market needs and enhance competitiveness.
