Egypt's tourism industry saw a 22 per cent year-on-year increase in June, reflecting growing resilience and renewed confidence in the country's travel sector, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Sherif Fathy said Monday. Speaking after the signing of strategic cooperation protocols between Egyptian Chamber of Tourist Establishments (CTE) and two leading international digital hospitality training firms, Minister Fathy said the growth was achieved despite regional and global challenges, underscoring the strength of Egypt's tourism offering. "This level of performance highlights both the robustness of the sector and the continued trust of international tourists in Egypt as a destination," he added according to a Cabinet statement.
