Minister of Interior, Magdy Abdel Ghaffar met Tuesday with his Algerian counterpart, Noureddine Bedoui in Cairo to discuss a number of issues, Al-Bawaba News reported. During the meeting, which was attended by the Algeria Ambassador to Cairo, Bedoui praised the Egyptian role in security services and its efforts in fighting against terrorism. Bedoui pointed out that the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the security field scheduled to be signed during the visit aims to boost the security cooperation with the Egyptian police. The two ministers discussed during the meeting the current situation in Libya, stressing on the need to restore stability and security to the Libyan people. For his part, Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that the ministry is ready to expand bilateral security cooperation with the Algeria as the two countries witness a great relation between their leaderships and people.
