Lulashnyk expressed his country's support to Egypt's efforts to counter terrorism, revealing that the Canadian government plans to strengthen bilateral ties with Egypt, especially in terms of security. On his part, Abdel Ghaffar reviewed the recent local and international security developments, praising the plans to boost security cooperation with Canada especially in exchanging intelligence on international terrorist organizations and their funding resources.
