Minister of Industry and Trade, Tarek Kabil said that his ministry has agreed with the World Bank to provide $500 million in new industrial areas in the governorates of Qena and Aswan, Al-Bawaba News reported. This came during a press conference held by the Ministry of International Cooperation, to sign two grant conventions between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the African Development Bank, the first costs one million USD, to help ease the suffering of those affected by the floods that recently hit the country, and the second is worth $1.25 million to complete the project "Update clearing and settlement depository systems for government securities of the Central Bank of Egypt", as well as a loan of 50.2 million euros to help finance (the national program for exchange-phase III).
