South Giza Prosecution decided Monday to imprison the Egyptian businessman Salah Diab for 4 days pending investigations, Al-Bawaba news reported. Diab, the founder of Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, was arrested Sunday alongside his son, over corruption accusations. On Friday, General Prosecutor, Nabil Sadek decided to freeze assets of Diab and businessman Mahmoud al-Gamal's over accusation of seizing state lands and wasting public funds.
