Egyptian General Prosecutor, Nabil Ahmed Sadek decided to freeze assets of Salah Diab, founder of Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, and Egypt's tycoon, Mahmoud Al-Gamal over corruption-related crimes, Al-Bawaba News reported Friday. The defendants were accused of controlling huge swathes of land through Agriculture Ministry to establish new agricultural projects including reclamation, but instead, they established touristic resorts, wasting huge part of land prepared for cultivation as well as ground water by establishing artificial lakes.
