An Egyptian court in Suez sentenced Wednesday two Muslim Brotherhood (MB) affiliates to two years and seven others to five years over violence-related crimes, Al Watan News reported. The defendants faced the charges of sabotaging public and private properties; breaking the protest law and assaulting civilians in the case publicly known as "The Army Street" case, judicial sources said. A large number of MB elements, including the former president Mohamed Morsi and other senior figures, were found guilty in terror-related crimes, mostly committed following the ouster of MB rule July 2013.
