Arab League's Moussa calls for emergency meeting to discuss crises
Arab League Council members 'disturbed' by events in Yemen and will also discuss Libya and Syria

Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa has announced an emergency Arab League Council meeting to discuss the crisis in Libya.
Moussa says that the council will also discuss the situation in Syria and Yemen. Moussa said that members of the League are disturbed by the situation in Yemen and the number of casualties in the country. He described the situation as "dangerous”, adding that he has discussed it with Abu Bakr Al-Kurby, the foreign minister of Yemen.
When asked about the assaults on journalists in several Arab countries while covering the widespread protests in the region, Moussa stressed the importance of protecting the media workers and providing them with the freedom they need.
