Arab League Secretary General and Egyptian presidential hopeful Amr Moussa left for Luxembourg early today to attend a meeting for the European Union foreign ministers on Monday. Moussa will discuss the developments taking place in the Middle East, including the uprisings taking place in Libya, Yemen and Syria. He will also discuss the Palestinian peace process. Moussa's term as secretary-general of the Arab League ended in May, but he will continue as care-taker of the pan-Arab organisation until he hands over the post to his successor, current Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil El-Arabi in September.
