CAIRO - Egypt's former Foreign Minister Nabil el-Arabi will Sunday take over as Arab League Secretary General succedding his national Amr Moussa, who will run for Egypt's presidency. El-Arabi and his predecessor Moussa held a series of meetings to discuss Arab and regional developments and the Arab League's efforts regarding the Palestinian issue, the situation in Syria, Yemen and Libya and the forthcoming African Union meetings, Egypt's official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
