Coach Bob Bradley has announced the Egypt squad to play a friendly on 14 August amid preparations for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. "Bradley has announced a 26-man squad for the training camp that will start on 9 August amid preparations for the friendly match six days later," the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on its official website without identifying the opponent. The Pharaohs were supposed to play a friendly match against Mali, but the match is uncertain due to organisational complications. Egypt secured a place in the World Cup qualifiers play-off after ensuring they would finish on top of Group G with one game to spare. The holders of three successive African Cup of Nations Cups, 2006 and 2008 and 2010, Egypt will host Guinea in the final round of the qualifiers in September. The African draw for the final round, featuring the 10 group winners, will be made on 16 September in Cairo.
