Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins joined the Liga side Levante after terminating his contract with Russian club Rubin Kazan

Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins signed a two-year contract with Spanish side Levante after he had his contract with Russian side Rubin Kazan terminated.
A former Inter Milan, Newcastle and Wolfsburg player, the 28-year-old striker arrived at Rubin Kazan from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in 2010for €9 million; he had one year remaining in his contract with the Russian club.
According to Spanish magazine Marca, Martins, who was on an annual wage of €2.2 million, will receive €600,000 at Levante.
