Zamalek hire Tarek Yehia as new coach Maqassa coach agrees to take charge of Zamalek first football team whose coach resigned after losing to Ahly in July
Zamalek management have reached an agreement with Maqassa coach Tarek Yehia to be in charge of the club team from the beginning of the coming season. "Mamdouh Abbas [Zamalek president] asked me to coach Zamalek and I agreed" Yehia told Ahram Arabic portal on Saturday."I am waiting for the official announcement from Zamalek's management after their return from Congo." Ahram reported that Maqassa management agreed to let their tactician Tarek Yehia go, to lead Zamalek. Zamalek have been searching for a replacement for Hassan Shehata who resigned after losing against Ahly in the second game of the CAF Champions League group stage in July. At the bottom of Group B with no points, Zamalek lost 2-0 to DR Congo Champions TP Mazembe in the third game on Saturday.
