Egypt's Mahmoud Trezeguet netted his ninth goal of the Turkish league this season as Kasimpasa played out a 1-1 draw with Bursaspor on Friday. The in-form winger put Kasimpasa ahead on the hour mark with a superb volley that bounced off the ground and nestled into the net after making the most of an inviting cross from fellow Egyptian international Karim Hafez. However, Kasimpasa could not hold onto their lead as Bursaspor's Aytac Kara converted a penalty with nine minutes remaining to secure a share of spoils. Kasimpasa lie sixth in the table with 38 points from 29 games, 11 behind fourth-placed Trabzonspor who occupy the last qualification spot for the Europa League, the continent's secondary club competition. Trezeguet joined Kasimpasa from Belgian giants Anderlecht last summer on a permanent basis after spending the 2017/18 season on loan at the Turkish club. He will be one of Egypt's key players during the June-July African Cup of Nations on home soil.
