Three Palestinians killed, tens injured in attacks by Israeli police on Al-Aqsa worshippers

A third Palestinian was killed by Israel in the Abu Deis suburb of east Jerusalem after clashes with the occupation forces following Friday prayers, the Palestinian Ministry of health announced.
The spokesman of the Palestinian Health Ministry had said earlier that two Palestinians were killed and more than 200 injured by Israeli occupation forces after Israeli police attacked worshippers outside Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem following Friday prayers, news media reported.
According to various media reports, Israeli police used both live and rubber bullets as well as tear gas to disperse Palestinian protesters after the prayers ended.
Associated Press footage shows police throwing stun grenades to disperse protesters in Ras al-Amud, a neighborhood in the eastern part of the city.
An Israeli officer can be seen kicking a man as he knees on a mat.
The Palestinians responded by throwing stones at the Israeli side.
According to news media reports, Israeli police also arrested a number of Palestinian protesters.
On Thursday, Israeli occupation police said they were barring men under 50 from entering Jerusalem's Old City for Friday Muslim prayers as tensions rose over new Israeli security measures at mosque.
Last Friday, Israel closed Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers seeking to perform Friday prayers for the first time since Israel occupied east Jerusalem in 1967 to install metal detectors at entrances.
After Israel reopened the mosque on Sunday Palestinians refused to enter Al-Aqsa through the detectors, with hundreds camping around the premises throughout the week to protest Israeli actions.
