New president of the Ivory Coast Football Federation, Augustin Sidy Diallo, has rejected speculation that Francois Zahoui is to be replaced as the national team coach. “I would like to confirm now that Coach Francois Zahoui will remain in charge of the national team. There has been a lot of speculation concerning his future since my arrival but they are all wrong,” Diallo told the Elephants during a meeting on Tuesday. Zahoui was hired by former federation chief Jacques Anouma in August 2010 on a two-year deal. The Frenchman has so far convinced after securing an early and easy place for the team in next year's African Cup of Nations. “I won't intervene in his job because he has already done a great work. He is the only boss on board and he will remain so until the end of the CAN,” he added. Ivory Coast have had a perfect run in the qualifiers claiming a maximum 15 points from their five games before facing Burundi on Sunday.
