No official Hull City offers for Egypt keeper, El Hadary: Merriekh chairman Sudanese side Merriekh chairman, Gamal Al-Wali, tries to hold onto Egyptian star keeper Essam El Hadary, stating no [official] offer has been sent by English Hull City
Sudanese Merriekh chairman Gamal Al-Wali announced that the club hasn't received any official offer from English side Hull City for their Egyptian goalkeeper, Essam El Hadary. “Reports keep saying that Hull City offered a loan move for El Hadary, but all we received from them is a trial request,” El Wali was quoted as saying on Sudanese newspaper El-Sadda. “We will not release the player from his three-year contract with us.” The Pharaohs guard, however, announced that he is not happy at Merriekh and will not return to Sudan until they fulfil his financial demands. In an interview with Ahram Online in May the former Ahly, Zamalek and Ismaily man, who is widely regarded as the best keeper in Egypt's history, said he was still determined to experience European football again, having played for Swiss side Sion a few years ago. Merriekh are leading the Sudanese league table with five points ahead of archrivals and title holders, Hilal.
