Merreikh have confirmed that Egypt goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari will fly to England for a medical with Hull City on Wednesday. The 38-year-old guardian has been given the green light to talk to Hull over a loan move, a few days after revealing the interest from the Championship side. “Everything has been settled with Al-Hadari and we wish him good luck in this move,” Merreikh football director Madani Al-Hareth was quoted by Sudanese newspaper Goansport. Al-Hadari has been pleading for a move away from Khartoum lately, even though he had just joined Merreikh in the winter break. Hull, who are owned by Egyptian-born businessman Assem Allam, have been struggling to return to the top flight following their relegation two seasons ago. The Tigers finished 11th in the Championship last term as they are currently in 19th place with just three points from four games.
