Egypt guardian Essam Al-Hadari announced on his personal website that he will not complete the season with Sudan's Merreikh. The 38-year-old, who signed from Zamalek in the winter break, is looking for a new challenge after the continental CECAFA Cup. “I want the Merreikh board and fans to know that I intend to leave the club after the CECAFA Cup,” Al-Hadari said. “After the tournament, I will present a number of offers to the board and I hope they allow me to leave.” Al-Hadari was suspended during his first few months with Merreikh, even so he was able to catch the start of the Sudanese League season in February. The veteran keeper has hardly been settled since making his controversial move from Ahli to Sion in 2008 as he played for Ismaili, Zamalek and Merreikh during the past couple of years. Merreikh, who are managed by Egyptian Hossam Al-Badri, are currently in charge of the league table, three points ahead of holders Hilal.
