Algeria have claimed their third successive win in the handball African Nation Cup group stage defeating Cameroon 34-27 Monday. Algeria started the game strong ending the first half 19-11. The North African team have recovered from opener defeat against hosts Egypt to defeat Gabon, Morocco, and Cameroon respectively in group A of the championship. Later on Monday, Morocco will play Nigeria before Egypt take on Gabon in the same group of the competition. In Group B, Angola will meet DR Congo before Kenya clash with Libya and Congo compete against Tunisia. The best four teams from each group will compete in a knock-out quarterfinals stage.
