BREAKING: Egypt appoints new central bank governor

Egypt appoints Tarek Amer as new central bank governor following the resignation of Hisham Ramez, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported on Wednesday.
Amer is the former CEO of Egypt's largest state-owned bank The National Bank of Egypt (NBE).
