Art Alert: The Girls' Windows exhibition at Ubuntu gallery in Cairo Four Egyptian artists will display their works in Zamalek's gallery Ubuntu, starting 8 February
The Girls' Windows exhibition scheduled to open on 8 February is a reflection of the artists' perspectives on life. On display will be works byNoha Hanafy, Alya Bassiouny, Nada Khairy, Somaya Abdullah, who will connect their cultural understanding of Egypt, with the modern and chaotic Cairean lifestyle and beat. With etching -- a type of intaglio in art printmaking -- as a dominant trait of the display, the artists will also employ other artistic techniques, which will all be canvassed at Ubuntu art gallery. According to the gallery's press note, Ubuntu aims to showcase artists from all walks of life with the common goal of sharing their unique passion for artistic expression.
