CAIRO: Potential Egyptian presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabbahi today commented on the appointment of Kamal el-Ganzouri as new Egyptian Prime Minister saying, “It's important to understand that Tahrir demonstrators see him as part of the former regime.” “We suggest the formation of a government of national salvation with full authority,” Sabbahi today told journalist Magdi El Galad on Egyptian CBC TV. The best people to form a new ministry, Sabbahi said, are: Mohamed el-Baradei, Abu el-Fatouh, Hossam Essa and Zakaria Abdel Aziz. The national salvation government must reflect the revolution and should be accepted by Tahrir Sqaure, he continued. Sabbahi also expressed hesitancy when asked if he would fill the Prime Minister's shoes, if asked, and also asserted that the country was facing a crisis because no progress or demands have been achieved. He also demanded answers from the Muslim Brotherhood, who opted out of the million-man demonstration.
