Egyptian and Jordanian Civil Aviation authorities negotiated to increase the passenger seat capacity between both countries to reach 3,200 seats for each without any restrictions on the number of flights. Head of Egyptian Civil Aviation Nagy Saleh said Jordanian airlines will organize 48 flights to Cairo weekly, while EgyptAir organized only 21 flights weekly between Cairo and Amman, Jordan, with the right for EgyptAir to use all numbers of seats. Nagy added there is an agreement with Lebanon Civil Aviation Authority to double the number of flights between both countries to 28 flights weekly for each instead of 14.
