CAIRO: High profile official in the Democratic Coalition Waheed Abdel Magid said that the coalitions which announced their refusal of Deputy Prime Minister Ali al-Salmi's proposition will hold a conference with other powers and movements that announced their objection on Sunday to define a unified stance towards the proposal. Abdel-Magid told Youm7 the conference would include discussions on how to confront the document if the government refused to meet their demands. He added that if Egypt's cabinet agreed to their demands, they would cancel Sunday's meeting and participate in the Deputy PM's second conference. He also said they had called on presidential candidates who refused the document to participate in their conference. The presidential candidates included are Mohamed el-Baradei, Hazem Salah Abu Ismail, Hamdeen Sabbahi, Mohamed Selim al-Awa, Abdallah al-Ashaal, Ayman Nour, and Hisham Youssed, who will be present on behalf of Amr Moussa. Abdel Magid said the conference will discuss the further steps that will be taken by the powers should the government refuse their demands.
