Vice-President of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Jean Fischer said they are working to find out the needs of Egypt's private sector to help it overcome the current economic crisis. He added the bank is keen to support the economic position of Egypt's market by supporting small and medium businesses that can achieve economic stability and provide job opportunities. Fischer told Youm7 they agreed with number of businessmen to execute a common project in November. He added the Bank supports projects aiming to rationalize energy consumption, transportation and infrastructure. He said the bank is working to provide small and medium projects with loans and supports the local banks to be able to provide these projects with loans with the local currency. He said they went to Egypt to know its economic position and help Egyptian businessmen establish projects that can build strong investments.
