Many political parties and movements call for restoring the Egyptian January 25 Revolution with a million-man demonstration on September 30 in Tahrir Square. The political situation in Egypt developed after activating the Emergency Law and the Election Law. The April 6 and the Democratic Front Movements called for a protest in Tahrir Square while other movements called to protest before the Minister of Defense. The April 6 and the Democratic Front Movements demanded to hold a popular pull before extending the Emergency Law and determine a specific time to deliver the rule for civil authority. The Second Egyptian Anger Facebook page called for an open protest on September 30 to deliver rule for civilians, oppose the Emergency Law, criminalize trials of civilians before military courts and achieve the demands of laborers, doctors and teachers. The coordinator of the April 6 Movement Ahmed Maher, said April 6 did not decide to participate on the protests scheduled for September 30. However the movement agreed on all the demands of the Ending Emergency Law Association. "Military council politics may motivate citizens to return to Tahrir Square in order to defend their revolution," Maher said. He expected strong opposition to the military council if they keep applying their policies. A former member of the April 6 Movement, Asmaa Mahfouz, said many different political forces are holding coordinated meetings in order to discuss the efficiency of the scheduled September 30 demonstration. She expects many citizens will participate in this demonstration. A coordinator of the Youth for Freedom and Justice movement, Mohamed Awad, said September 30 is a beginning for a new revolution against the current politics. He said people will participate because they do not feel the positive results of the Egyptian January 25 Revolution.
