CAIRO – April 6 Movement (Ahmed Maher's Front) will hold a press conference on Wednesday to announce its stand of legislative polls and their governing laws, the official Middle East News Agency reported on Tuesday. Ahmed Afifi, the spokesman of the movement, said that the conference will also focus on details of the movement's plan in the "One-Million-Man March' on September 30 in protest of the extension of the Emergency Law. The movement announced Monday night that it would participate in Friday's Demonstration at Tahrir Square and main squares nationwide, calling for lifting Emergency Law that has been reactivated by the military council to be valid until June 2012. The movement and participants from the other political powers will call for determining a deadline for the People's Assembly and presidential polls in preparation for handing over power to civilians. The Movement has called on Egyptians to take part in the demonstration, urging them not to cause any chaos.
