Four Kuwaiti lawyers joined the team to defend the martyr's families, announced the representative of the defense team and former chairman of the Bar, Ashour. The Kuwaiti lawyers received permission from the Ministry of Justice to advocate during former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's trial, Ashour said during a press conference. He also said the Kuwaiti lawyers will join the defense team during the next hearing sessions. He emphasized there is nothing wrong about the Kuwaiti lawyers' presence in the defense commission since it is allowed by law. Egyptians and Kuwaitis have strong ties and are unified, Arab rulers will not influence them and they have one goal to realize a free Arab world, said Ashour. "Egyptian people contributed in the liberation of Kuwaitis, not the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The January 25 Revolution excelled when it put the protester killers inside the dock in a civil way." Ashour said many Kuwaiti lawyers wanted to join the defense team and they set up a symbolic committee to represent them. One Kuwaiti lawyer, Adel al-Yehia, said they came to Egypt to support Egyptians and the January 25 Revolution. He also said more than 450 lawyers wanted to defend the martyrs' families from a total of 700 Kuwaiti lawyers.
