CAIRO: Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center is hosting el-Naharda – “Today” – gallery in Isis Hall on Thursday. The gallery will include photography, carving, painting and drawings from 173 artists. The works are intended to show how the artists see Egypt today after five months of Egypt's January 25 Revolution. Dr. Ashraf Reda, Fine Arts sector head, will open the gallery. "The gallery expresses artists and intellectuals' emotions nearly 100 days after the revolution," said Reda . Artist Tamer Asem, the center's head, said the gallery will be open until August 3.
