The European Union will provide Egypt with 200 million euro in financial aid to assist Egypt with youth employment in the coming period, said Dr. Ahmed el-Borei, Egypt's Minister of Manpower and Immigration. Borai will present the training plan to the European Parliament at the end of June so the members can approve the grant, Borai said in a special statement to Youm7 on the sidelines of a serious of dialogues organized by the National Council for Youth. Borai said, if approved, the European Union aid will be given to Egypt until 2014. He added that Australia has offered to Egypt to participate in the project, which would provide jobs for many Egyptian youth. The project was launched by the International Labor Organization in cooperation with Canada at a cost of U.S. $10 million. It is being implemented in one governorate in Egypt.
