Egyptian press tackled various issues including the Mubarak trials, Coptic Christian sit-ins and the diesel crisis, today.
A source denied that the ousted President Hosni Mubarak is going to apologize to the Egyptian citizens and he will not hand over his fortune, according to the independent newspaper Al-Masry Al-Youm.
In related news, state-run newspaper Al-Ahram reported that a monitoring committee will allocate 5 million EGP (U.S. $840,000) for presidency.
Coptic Christians abroad stage a protest outside the UN Security Council headquarters in Washington today, said Al-Dostor newspaper. The demonstrators call for sacking Egypt from United Nations to support Maspiro demonstrators, Egyptian Television and Radio Headquarter, and Coptic demonstrators in Menya and Alexandria, Al-Dostor added.
