WADI GEDID, Egypt: Egypt's governorates are facing a crisis of diesel fuel, said a representative of the Wadi Gedid supply directorate, Salah Sayed. The crisis is now affecting the Wadi Gedid governorate because the wells of Wadi Gedid are completely dependent on diesel fuel to operate, which means life will become increasingly difficult in the governorate if its supply of diesel finishes. Sayed said the governorate has 900 tons worth of diesel in supply, enough to last 4 days at most since most means of transport in the governorate depend on Diesel fuel. The Wadi Gedid governorate will need up to 5,000 tons to prevent a shortage of power crisis.
