But coach Soliman quelled concerns over Ekrami's problem, indicating that the 29-year-old will be fit to stand between the posts in the third-place playoff next Sunday. “Ekrami's injury is a minor hamstring strain," Soliman told the club's official website. “He just needs a one-day rest and will be ready to play in the third place play-off." Ahli meet the loser of the other semi-final clash between Chelsea and Mexico's Monterrey as the Cairo giants eye the bronze medal, an accolade they had already secured in 2006.
