Egypt Olympic midfielder Hossam Hassan has joined Turkish second division side Rizespor on a season-long loan from MCDR. The 23-year-old has confirmed that a plus EGP 1million move has been agreed, even though the Turkish club have yet to announce the deal. Hassan - a defensive midfielder - featured in every game for Egypt at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. He was also recalled to the Egypt first team in the previous friendly game in Oman, where Bob Bradley's team drew 1-1 with the Gulf nation. The former Ahli youngster becomes the fourth Egyptian to join Rize as Ahmed Salah Hosni, Ibrahim Said and Beshir Al-Tabie had spells there when the team were in top flight.
