Zamalek have named only Amr Zaki and Ahmed Gaafar as strikers in the squad facing Morocco's Maghreb Fes in the Champions League, with the latter poised to be stand-in goalkeeper. The Whites are facing a dilemma in the goalkeeper position with skipper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed suspended after receiving his second yellow card at Africa Sports, leaving the inexperienced Mahmoud Abdul-Rahim ‘Gennesh' as the only bona fide guardian in the squad. Manager Hassan Shehata was also left with only two fit and recognized frontmen at his disposal in Zaki and Gaafar, as Mido was ruled out with a back complaint and Benin's Razak Omotoyossi is serving a four-match suspension. Assistant coach Ismail Youssef revealed this week that Gaafar will be the stand-in keeper for Gennesh, who hasn't been training for five days after injuring himself in a friendly last week. Zamalek welcome back star man Shikabala though after he had missed the trip to Africa Sports, while defender Hani Saied shook off a minor knock to make the squad.
