Zamalek captain Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed tips Ahmed Hassan to play deputy to stand-in goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdul-Rahim ‘Gennesh' in the Champions League visit to Maghreb Fes. Zamalek found themselves in an unexpected ordeal with regular guardian Abdul-Wahed suspended for the visit to the Moroccan side, leaving Gennesh as the only bona-fide keeper in their African roster. “Gennesh is a good goalkeeper. He will play without pressure and I think when a goalkeeper plays with no pressure he can perform well,” Abdul-Wahed told Melody Sport. “The problem is not Gennesh though, the problem is who will be his deputy. “There are two possible options. Ahmed Hassan is one, even though he is a bit short and the other is Ahmed Gaafar. “Hassan is good with low shots, but I told him to be careful because he might concede a lob from the halfway line! “Gaafar is good in the air. Anyway the goalkeeping coach will test a few players to see the best option. It's a situation we have to face and hopefully we'll get through it.”
