Zamalek are confident that goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdul-Rahim ‘Gennesh' will be fit for the Champions League game at Maghreb Fes despite picking up an injury on Thursday. The 24-year-old, who is set to replace the suspended Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed in goal against the Moroccan side, limped off Zamalek's 2-1 friendly win over Police Union, raising fears over his fitness. “The injury of Gennesh is minor. It is not even worth thinking that he could be out of the Fes game,” Zamalek doctor Ayman Farid told the club's website. “He should be back in training on Sunday and will be able to play against Maghreb Fes.” Abdul-Wahed's absence leaves Hassan Shehata with Gennesh as the only available keeper in the team's African squad. Zamalek visit the Moroccan side in the Champions League last 16 on April 28 in Fes.
