Zamalek midfielder Ibrahim Salah left the team's training ground on crutches after suffering an injury on Saturday. The Whites said on their website that the Egypt midfielder received a fierce knock after colliding with teammate Ahmed Gaafar. It remains to be seen whether Salah will be fit for the Champions League visit to Maghreb Fes next week. Zamalek reserve keeper Mahmoud Abdul-Rahim ‘Gennesh' was also injured in a friendly game last week, but the club said that he should be fit for the Morocco trip. Gennesh is the only available goalkeeper in the team's African squad as veteran Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed is suspended.
